>>I don't consider you to be a conservative. You might be an extremist, however<<

An extremist what, Skeppy?

Why the heck would you not consider me a conservative? I believe in equal tax rates for all citizens, regardless of income. I believe all in our society should be protected by law (life and liberty). I support capital punishment for people who take others' lives. I support a strong military, strong defense, fiscal discipline, term limits for congressmen, vouchers for parents to send their children to the school of their choice (although my first goal would be to phase out public education entirely and leave it to the private sector. Individual parents ought to pay for their own children's education.) I do not support big govt giveaways or corporate welfare. I am opposed to the marriage penalty and double taxation as in dividends and the "death tax" and capital gains. I am opposed to gun control as it a.) violates the Second Amendment and b.) does not work. I do not believe meat is murder, and I support the right of citizens to decide for themselves whether or not to spay or neuter their pets and whether or not to wear their automobiles' seat constraints.

So which of these is antithetical to conservatism? Which of these makes me an "extremist"? To me, they are all common sense and have more to do with the mainstream than a lot of other things people say, like calling the president "Dumbya" which is disrespectful and sounds extremist, as well as bitter. Oh yes, and I also support free trade. I do not think we should be the world's policeman; however, I do believe we should be involved in world affairs to a limited degree and not be isolationists. I support military borders to keep illegals out (I used not to, but I have since changed my position on that). I do not think illegals should have access to the benefits of American life, as many now do. The key word there is "illegal". I support tighter regulation of emigrants here. I am more in favor of the free market approach to things like science and medicine and am wary of politicians wanting tax dollars for these things, as well as various subsidies for certain professions. For instance, I think rich, Hollywood celebrities should fund "the arts" rather than taxpayers, who have no choice in the matter.

So any time you wanna tell me how any of this fits in with extremism, honey (I know how you like it when I call you that), you just go right ahead.

>>you definitely need to read more books, now that you're finished writing your own. <<

I plan to, such as Ann Coulter's "Slander" and Jonah Goldberg's "Bias in the American Media."

I finished writing two books. I have six more I want to write. Hopefully, I will get them published one day. I am still working on that.

>>One time you told me to address no further comments to you, and I guess we should keep it like that. <<

Wanna get out of your "extremist" accusation, do you?

I said that once, after a particular nasty post by yourself in regard to me. If you want to maintain a grudge from that, you have that prerogative. But we have actually communicated a tiny bit since then, so I'm surprised to see you bring it up. (Except for the fact that you are trying to get out of your "extremist" accusation, and I do know that you are not an entirely honest individual.)

>>Good luck in the future.<<

Thanks. I should be around for a little while ITM.
