Personally, I believe a company can change the CUSIP for a split even without a merger or name change... However, in this case, I think it's a good possibility that APS was going to "celebrate" a merger or buyout, and the CUSIP change was filed as part of the pump. The problem? The ticker dove quickly, and APS took the banner down so that potential new "members" wouldn't see SVEN and check it out (which would've been poor advertising on APS's part).

It's a possibility that the trades will be canceled. It really wouldn't make a difference though.
