Here’s the latest spec brief for the TM5800, TMTA’s most important current offering:

In 3Q03, TMTA is expected to release a new-generation product called the TM8000 (“Astro”), which will double the width of the VLIW processor from 128 to 256. The TM8000 is expected to compete with Centrino and/or P4-M in the full-sized notebook market (14-inch screen) as well as the thin/light segment served by the existing TM5800. Regards, Dew
