MIAMI-DADE COUNTY: There was minimal flooding. Trees and power lines were down in the streets, but there were no serious injuries or structural damage. Restaurants signs were blown over, and glass storefronts were smashed. Some sailboats had been tossed onto dry land. About 1 million customers were without power. School was canceled, and county offices were to be closed on Tuesday. The Miami International Airport was also closed. A curfew was in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
