kpf, AMD prides itself on that million cycle erase. And it makes a difference to some, at (the late, lamented) Telxon, it was basically AMD flash or nothing. Both the temp. spec and the erase cycles were the cited factors. We went through some awful gyrations during the Great Flash Shortage of 2000 because we were being quoted lead times of 30+ weeks and our design cycle was a lot less than that...
