A curiosity question, to anyone with some knowledge behind splits. I recently saw a mention of Ariads growth in comparison to celgene. Upon looking at celg growth through the years, I noticed that they had three splits take place between $10 and $25, that was indicated on their yahoo charts. Is there significance for these splits? Does it help the companies maturation to have splits in that price range? Is Ariad in a position for a split in the near future with its own growth and realization of the company? Or is a split not even worth Ariads time? Thanks.
