Wash sales are very common with pump and dumps like TNIB to create fake volume and make it look like people are interested in the stock. Wash sales are also illegal, but pumpers often don't get caught unless the SEC steps in and investigates.

The only other possibility is that it was a forced buy-in of a short. If that was an investor buying stock, he's a pretty stupid investor to put $50,000 into an illiquid stock that has risen 900% on a stock promotion and whose CEO has been involved in past pump and dump operations.
