i'm sorry, but anyone who is a major investor, someone sophisticated enough to do 5 minutes of DD, would realize montecito is in settlement talks with us, NOT litigating the case, and these same "big pockets" would realize we've got nearly the same boepd potential in d-bar and south texas combined.
they would also see at a glance how much cash we've already paid montecito, and know that even if the deal didn't close we would end up with a nice chunk of cash to invest in other deals.
furthermore, anyone who is waiting on the sidelines for a confirmation of financing, drilling of VM, purchase of d-bar, etc... they can all pay a lot more for the clarity on these issues when the time comes. "shortly" would be my guess.
