wbmw-I disagree with you concerning your post,

"I'm pretty sure Itanium architecture has been doing far better than some people give it credit."

Two articles for you to read concerning Intel's lost god child in the Itanium server line. It is slower and it's code base is a mammoth, when compared to AMD's x86-64.Intel's Itanium is 67% slower than Intel Alpha in SAP tests Out of over 4 million servers sold in 2002 only 3500 where Itaniums. As far as that article in the Inquirer stating Intel will sell 25000 systems this year, I have been researching and trading AMD for going on 9 years now and Intel always leaks news spam to the media just before AMD is about to release a new "great" product. How do I know that? Because if you read a lot you notice a greater frequency of Intel related stories concerning,Intel is greater and Intel is better just before those releases. By the way get ready because here comes Opteron.
Elmer-he's ok he is just so blinded by Intel and their tech it's obvious. I just talk to him because he said he actually owns some AMD.LOL!
