HESG - Daily short numbers are interesting indeed. Imagine a retail client putting a sell order in for $0.0002, and the broker not having inventory, or locates, to back that trade. That broker, and their market maker would be forced to short sell to close out that position. Hard to tell if the NITE's of the world are shorting into buying for their own benefit, or shorting into buying because the electronic markers in retail accounts are counterfeit and illegal.

Regardless, someone continues to go shorter!
