There is no point in debating what is right and what is wrong and what is legal and what isn't because it can never be proven. This is here and this is now -- some say KATX was horribly Naked Shorted and a lot of the short shares remain to be covered now. This is so much BULL !!! The ' System ' is not short to the Retail players. If you want physical shares you can arrange to get them any time. And at the Depository there is no short position - COLLECTIVELY. There NEVER is. Individual brokers can be short but all the positions are known because audits are always done and the books always balance.
