I'd question his motives! LOL!

We've been married for 28 years and together for 30 and he has always called me his little donkey!!!
I have to ask him if he made it up! I always thought it was a slang expression for Irish.
Come to think of it.......I can't remember the last time he referred to me by name!!! Maybe he's forgotten it??????
