Since the $5 mil in NIH funding was the main asset acquired by Cortex in the merger, one would think it would have to stay with Cortex. Dr. Carley resigned from the Cortex BOD in early Oct, but he may still be involved in some way with the SA Phase 2b (?). But even if he isn't, Varney presumably wouldn't have done the merger if the NIH funding could evaporate upon the departure of Carley.

What we need is an update from Varney on what is happening. I emailed him several weeks ago, but no response. Varney runs this company as if it's privately held, with no regard for public disclosure beyond the bare minimum SEC filings. It's no wonder the company has one foot in the grave, er make that two feet.
