CEO Vladimir Bondar DD

Thought I'd do a quick DD post on our CEO Vladimir Bondar for the folks new to Rafarma that haven't followed the JAQ board. I don't know much myself but I have picked up things over the many, many months I have followed this blockbuster merger.

There isn't a ton of info out there on him and what there is is mostly in Russian.

His bio on Rafarma.com:

Holder of two Masters degrees. Was employed by the government of USSR/Russia for more than 20 years. For more than 10 years Mr. Bondar was the head of International Fund for Social, Economic and Political Studies, more commonly known in the West as “the Gorbachev Foundation”. Mr. Bondar has been in private business since 2001. Mr. Bondar has tremendous experience in developing larger size companies into successful businesses.

The 20 years he was with the government I believe much of that was spent with the Russian Federal Protective Service or the Federal Security Service(formally known as the KGB).

Apparently he was the head of the Kremlin Regiment(the equivalent of the United States Secret Service)and was in charge of the protection of Mikhail Gorbachev.

After that he became head of the Gorbachev Foundation. Gorbachev probably wanted someone he could trust in this position and who better then the guy who was in charge of your personal security during some very turbulent times, remember the coup in the early 90's..??

Beyond that I don't know a whole lot more. I do know he has a business called Cyprus Corp that owns some very substantial real estate. Including the building pictured below Kutuzovsky Prospekt 24.

Of the several businesses this building houses two are of interest in regards to Rafarma.

Nashe Pravo, this company handles the IR duties for Rafarma and also where Bailey works, he might even own that business or he is a consultant there I'm not sure.

The other is Rusclinic, apparently they take care of all registrations for licenses for Rafarma and also hold some patents on their behalf. They probably also handle the clinical trials as well but I'm not sure.
