Job Posting: Division Sales Manager @ Dr. Pepper/7up so as one can see what they do: in this case handle a large geographical area, the South, and oversee truly 'the big picture' as their job performance is based on what each Distributor and bottlers do in their territory.

...and ALF wants to make Robinson the COO and run Pleasant Springs (!). On top of this he was a nationwide Account Manager for the most popular spring water in the world, Evian - and is exponentially growing his own vending business right now.... I am impressed.

Division Manager will lead a Regional Manager team that maintains accountability to annual base volume for the collective and aligned DPS Pepsi Bottlers, operating expenses, several field budgets, and overall bottler and retailer customer development.

Division Manager will be responsible for supporting DPS National Brand Strategy by adapting local strategy solutions and action plans designed to promote core brand alignment (predominantly Dr Pepper, Crush and Schweppes), sell in new products through effective team coverage programs, and execute aligned bottler sales plans that outpace bottler projected annual plans.

Responsibilities:

* You will contribute in this role by leading the South region team, based in Dallas TX, in meeting or exceeding volume and profit objectives by managing our customer and bottler relationship.
* Your goal will be to increase volume through an efficient and effective geographic coverage plan while remaining within an assigned budget.
* An important element of the position is developing and training a diverse Sales Team that covers a wide geographic area and a varied bottler group.
* Maintaining and increasing an efficient and effective coverage plan within an assigned budget is important to success.
* Over time it is expected that the Division Manager will help lead per capital development of DPS brands (specifically Dr Pepper, Crush and Schweppes) across an area that is comprised primarily of a large aligned PBC business and several key Independent Pepsi /DPS bottlers that have inherent development opportunity.
* Division Manager will be responsible for instilling practices and routines that supply the PASO  Leadership with timely and accurate data as well as being the leadership and local expert on all issues relating to the specific South region Division including:

Case Sales Analysis

Nielsen Analysis and performance insight

Retailer Insight and Defined Annual Business Plans

Budget tracking and allocation compliance

NAII Oversight

Personnel Development

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and 4 years of CPG sales experience OR a high school diploma (or GED) and 8 years of CPG sales experience.
* 3 years of experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* 3 years of experience developing sales plans that resulted in increased volume and profit.
