I don't think of magnets for pain. I think of them for healing. Of course, healing usually alleviates pain, I suppose. We placed magnetic boots on the front feet of one of our horses. The vet was amazed at how fast she healed a torn tendon. Half the usual time. The damage and healing was verified by ultrasound. Since the mare is illiterate, I've discounted a placebo effect.
