A judge is now ruling that the people’s argument about health concerns has merit and will hear their case out. “The lawsuit we brought against Comstock Mining Inc. and Storey county officials was concerned with the health and safety of the community and so that’s why we went to court against them.”

Funk says the health concerns are rooted into the past. “This is a superfund sight. Because of operations here in the past you’ve got lots of toxicity in the landscape around here and in this mining operation they are stirring up a lot of dust and that’s bringing a lot of that stuff to light.”

We spend so much money on sampling, safety, and removing ourselves from the river Superfund site and these people refuse to believe it? The CRA is the most self destructive anti mining group I have ever seen.
