It seems that the only ingredient missing for full acceptance of the need to disarm iraq by the rest of the worldis a smoking gun". It seems odd that if the vehicles transporting wmd's around are known about that one of them hasn't been seized by now. I could understand waiting till the required amount of troops are in the area before providing incontestable proof of the the existence of the wmd's.
Remember the Tonkin gulf situation where an incident that lead to escalation in vietnam was found to have been faked. It will be interesting in the next few days to see if the smoking gun does appear
