Mixed Economic prospects

PDQ I have to agree I'm trying to position my portfolio for a slow or negative growth period. Hurricane Wilma could do even more economic damage. Expect energy prices to keep going up which will impact consumer prices.

AAPL is perceived as a premium brand with healthy margins, little to No debt so they can weather these turbulent times. At first blush the amount of new products and upgrades that Apple has released recently seems to be overkill, but considering the current economic climate and the increased expectations from wallstreet they are continuing their new found brand momentum.

Anyway, I'm thinking it may be time to get a little defensive in my portfolio- I feel uncertain times ahead.
