Newspaper reporters and tv guys sure do like to make simple things out to be spectacular. Max Wittek who is taking Barkley's place this Sat against Notre Dame said that he is going to play within himself and within the system and that he expects to win the game. All the reporters jumped on this and said that he was putting a guarantee out there. Of course the only part of the statement that got played over and over was Wittek saying that SC was going to win.

For the record I do THINK that the Domers are going to go down and their hopes for a national championship are going to go up in flames. They completely lucked out on some of their wins against very suspect teams and one against a very good Stanford team. It should be a lot of fun at the Colleseum on Saturday!!!, always is when we play the Domers.
