Looking at it logically, easy as 123...

1- Nigel Brabbins cant be blamed for government change to GP Consortia.
2- Ultrasis is unable to carry on paying him a third of a million salary.
3- When things go wrong for whatever reason, the top man is replaced.

IMO the company need a good man on much less pay, if we are going to be successful' during hard financial times!
