I understand the exit strategy and the need to be patient. But, I don't understand why this isn't a 'hot' product if it truly is a new paradigm. Is it just not very cost-effective? There are lots of great products that never make it because they simply cost too much.
In the back of my mind, and related, is the $8 million number that was put out there by DW himself almost a year and a half ago. It would appear that not only did it not happen, but that the anticipated demand is not near as great as was expected. Is that demand EVER going to be there, is what I'm wondering at this point, because enough time has gone by to get over any bias one has to using the word 'solar'. The product is out there, it is being used, it has been tested. So, where are the $8 million orders now?
Sorry to come on so strong but this is not looking like it is as big a winner as I had hoped anymore. Don't get me wrong, they are doing nicely and should be priced higher, but I'm not seeing the grand slam $50 million takeover very clearly anymore..because I would think that price WOULD require $5 million or so in sales.
