If you want to be heard loud and clear you should construct a sentence correctly.

When people complain about other people's work but fail to critique their own work, they appear to be a whiner who should not be heard.

Your sentence would be correct as follows:

[DO] YOU THINK [WE] WILL HEAR SOMETHING THIS WEEK?

My answer is no. This week is a bad week for releasing news due to the US Holiday - even though it is not a holiday for Canadians.
