gfp: There is a difference. A Republican victory for President and in the Senate might have staved off national bankruptcy an extra 3 or 4 years. Now there is no hope. But I'm starting to prepare. Just sold one of our couches and a matching chaise lounge. Now we have to get rid of a really nice cherry wood master bedroom set....5 pieces plus a mirror. We're planning on massively downsizing between now and spring. Hopefully we can sell our house in the spring. Then we either go RVing or we'll rent a small house for a few years. When the inevitable financial train crash looks like its coming close we'll bail....Uruguay, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia are likely stops. Serial international vagabonds.
