Dykstra had the house next to Wayne Gretzky and when he filed bankruptcy he went in and took out a bunch of the fixtures like the faucets and stove and tried to sell all that stuff. I read an article that one of the people that worked for him wrote and this was a guy that loved the high life with the private jets and all that goes with it. He fancied himself as some type of financial wiz kid but it just turned out that he was just a dumb jock with bad morals and a knack for spending money that he didn't have.

I met him when he opened his car wash here in town.
