the guy is a crackpot, international courts do not handle patents they only handle war criminals and treaty violations. there is no such thing as AN international patent you have to apply for patents in every country where you want to protect your ideas.

VRNG has to sue ZTE in every jurisdiction where they want money until they are forced to settle with an international agreement which is what happened to Ericsson.

this is VRINGOs strategy also. Force ZTE to the table then go after the other big players.. that's why they went for cold hard injunctions. cutting someones income off from one of their biggest customers is a sure way to bring them to the table.

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.. in the case of Erricson v ZTE or Apple v HTC it worked.. but in the case of Samsung v Apple it hasn't worked (yet). Such is the nature of international litigation wars.
