Even though it's hard being in the dark so to speak my experience with small companies that coddle shareholders are doing it to keep them around when they know things are bad. And eventually the company closes shop and you ask yourself what just happened? They just told me how good things are going.

Just a bit of advice from someone who has traded pennies for quite some time now, silence is not alwyas bad and communication is not always good.
