And I did take note that you labeled me a "good CDEx Basher". I hope you weren't being facetious.

I enjoyed your analogy between the cost of the first digitally watches and lasers. Yes, the cost of lasers have made them very affordable for analytical equipment.

But even a digitally tuneable laser would not be too expensive for the value one will receive from a Valimed G4.

Now, I am happy to answer your irrelevant question promptly:

"My question is about the apparent claim by CDEX that they are able to use a laser in the ValiMed G4. From your perspective, do you think that is THE excitation source that can generate enough molecular activity that could then be exploited for fluorescence analysis, Raman analysis, and either absorption or reflective analysis, all from the same laser induced event?"

Yes, but of course, that is not the difficut part.

BTW, I reviewed Poteet's video on the G4 and I can see that the G4 can not measure molar concentration according to Beer's Law
like the older cuvette Valimeds did.

How important that is, I don't know.
