Down now, up later. What happens tomorrow? My point was, and it still is, the prediction six months ago was short term, then turned log term. As I said, it still may reach .41, but if it ran 3 times to over 60 in the interim, is the algorithm valid? It is valid only if it is initially presented with a time frame that doesn't change over time. Oh, and changing the "prediction" to a conditional if the tail of an intraday candle touches .41 then the algorithm is confirmed doesn't help the validity when the tail has yet to come close.

I know I get tired of mattstats showing up during the decline in any given cycle to let us know his .41 is still there. Maybe it will happen this time, maybe it won't, I only know he disappears each time he misses and the price runs back up.
