Questions for All...

Does any Record Company approved music download site use the Mp3 format?

If not do you feel the Record Companies are ready to use the Mp3 format that the iPod uses?

Can the iPod be upgraded to use future codecs?

When will Apple bring out it's next generation iPod?

Will that player support more than Mp3?

My theory is Apple will have the user download songs in a non-Mp3 secure format that can only go to Mp3 when being downloaded to the iPod which will not allow Mp3s to be uploaded to anything else.

IMHO what ever they try, hackers will have end around ready faster than you can say "burn"

And that might make all the other questions moot
