Aiming to bolster its position in the competitive market for less-invasive medical devices, Birtcher Medical Systems Inc. said that it will merge with Solos Endoscopy Inc.
If shareholders approve the deal, which is valued at $44 million, the expanded Birtcher would have more than $50 million in annual sales. It would also offer a full line of instruments and video monitoring devices for endoscopic surgery, which is performed with tiny instruments inserted inside the human body, Birtcher President William E. Maya said.

But it goes to show there has been interest in SNDY for a merger in the past. And it could very well happen again. It should make one wonder what would happen to the stock price if we got a deal on the table even half of the size of this offer. A merger of this size would make many on this board very wealthy indeed. Good news for us is SNDY has many more products now then back then. And if they find the right partner/merger it could mean a tremendous increase in the share price.
Take care my friends,
Mike
