Someone said (was it Jonathan Alter?) that he was glad Obama "owned" the victory; meaning he should not have mentioned Clinton.

I felt the same way. Even though Clinton was great, I didn't think it was appropriate to detract from Obama's moment by mentioning him in his speech. The call he made thanking him should be enough.
