I didn't know this was enacted - I thought that in a Short Sale or Foreclosure you would have to pay taxes on the "forgiven" amount - just like you do when you get your credit card debt forgiven. Not the case KIMOSABI LOL. But that is about to end next year.

No wonder we can't pay our bills - not only do slackers not have to pay their mortgage - they don't have to pay their taxes.
