Luckily, I have a knack for languages. I speak several with various levels of proficiency. Spanish of course is like second nature to me as I am surrounded CONSTANTLY by Spanish speaking people, my girls and granddaughters included.

But funny as it is, my granddaughters mostly speak English to me. Or a mix.

In Mexico, no one was sure WHERE I was from. In Ecuador, some think I am Mexican, because that is my style and manner of speaking. I don't speak Ecuadorean Spanish yet. Here in the States, Spanish speaking people always wonder where I am from too. I don't act or seem very American they tell me. LOL!
