Halloween candy, costumes, pumpkins the day after are at best 50% off.
Christmas- same thing. Anything with red and green on it is 50% off. You can't maximize profit with a hard deadline like that.
Seasonal is better. Spring, summer collection has a more forgiving time frame.
The best is year round merchandise. Never goes out of style, can sit on the shelf until sell date or the manager removes it because it's not moving.
Small co' have to spread their dollars wisely- Holiday promo is not it.
I hope they bring it around though...
