The ONLY impact legalization in any state would have is simply a momo run on speculation. Legalization wont help CBIS much. It could help MJNA possibly but also doubtful. There is always an election "run" in MJ stocks. After the election it will bump up a bit depending on the laws that pass but once the market realizes that making it legal has not effect other than bad they will sell and move on.

IMO legal pot will put most MJ companies out of business. Many are working with dispensaries and if made legal dispensaries will no longer be needed. Growers might make a splash but it will basically become another corn. You might be able to invest in a pot farm but mostly it will be individuals growing.

Many people dont realize that you can not grow pot like corn.
Imagine if corn was only good for you and only fed you if you switched corns every week or so.
Pot will "stop working" if you use the same strain constantly.
You have to switch between breeds. So some farm making 1 type of pot will eventually drop in sales as people become use to it.
They will have to switch strains on a regular basis.

The other issue is I can grow enough pot on 2 plants to last myself a year. Why would I go buy it if I can legally grow it

It isnt like corn in the way that you need 200 plants to last a year.

In the end IMO the best place to make money once pot is legal would be breeders and seed banks.

CBIS is making pharmaceuticals so they could live through it but Big pharma will jump on the band wagon as soon as it is legal
