Dj, Ponder; There are a number of sources presented before on this matter but the following is the company that submitted the quote for changing the hull anodes over a year ago. They never did it. The company is the only one in Puerta Plata that does this work and the owner did one voyage on the Hispaniola. He knows the ship and he knows exactly what is going on caribbeanmarine@ymar.com

I spoke to one of the Webber's who will be getting the contact information for the months unpaid Hispaniola caretaker who left the ship and is suing for back wages (get in line). All of this is becoming ridiculous in so much that this is all common knowledge in Puerta Plata. One last time: The Hispaniola has been tied to the dock for two years, has never gone to sea once in all this time. The desperately needed hull anodes have never been replaced in two years. The ship has not been in dry dock in going on between three to four years. (Unheard of for any vessel in the marine industry). Folks, some of you just can't understand you've been lied to.
