Jim: No your daughter should not have green hair! But I bet you lose that battle. Was not prepared for a loooong response. I am from a mostly non military family (recent). My brother was in the army during the Vietnam conflict/war, whatever. He was lucky to remain stateside do to his valuable skills in the accounting area. I also had several uncle's in the army.
All that being said, I would never want to tell families who lost children in the war that it was a waste. But to prevent what I consider a misguided war, truth must be told. This administration prevented photo's of the casket's being flown back to America.
Old men sending young men to die is never good. Sometimes it may be right, be never good. Makes me sick to think about it.
If I ran the show, I would be investing those billions from the Iraq war into alternative energy solutions. Problem solved.
