maybe but another way to look at it is that we have the willing manpower and resources and open hand giving to help people. other countries have no where near the support network we do. our son has been dispatched this week with the MC to go and help. it will be weeks he will be away- it will all get fixed and in very short order comapred to what it could be. We went to El Salvador years after an earthquake had destroyed the orphanage we went to and it was still not repaired totally yet.
We have our problems but we live in the greatest country on earth imo.
other son had been in the area with the Navy and was one of the first to arrive in Banda Aceh after the tsunami scraped that place flat and killed so many. pretty grim but in they went.
