Tex let me enlighten you here. Walgreens would have required Identa or Oximeter to buy space in their circular. This is part of the deal retailers make with product companies. Walgreens would not have done this for free.

Secondly, they discount products usually because they are not selling well. This is why you never see deals on things like iphones, they sell themselves.
