PowerPole, I'm just as confused as you are. Kreisler has more paper & company shuffles than a vegas poker dealer. IMO

I read that VRDM's part...

...is a simple license-agreement that in no way would effect any previous CLAIM and/or REALITY of an INSQ division (warnecke?) manufacturing the actual taz unit. IMO

VRDM does have a fairly recent (8/25) 144-filing, i've not seen posted here that may be of interest to you.
