I do have a brief reply, ...then a project to tackle...& a lot on m’plate today. If you want to continue, ...it would be an honor and a privilege to pick up again this evening some time.
You said, “Put these two together.” Okay, they’re together:
1) Who do you defend yourself against...when it is typically you who initiates the jabs? [Swift & SAVAGE? What’s the point of that in this context? Really] “Chucky” walks up to me and punches me in the nose, ...to which I retort with a punch in the nose & a noogie, ...this is followed by the authorities ambling up to unearth a guilty party from which to exact revenues and cheap labor, ...to which Chucky claims: I was acting in self defense? ...Yeah, brave new world...where the assaulted is the bad guy and the “Chucky” is the victim?.... NOT that I’m claiming you’ve assaulted me, Frog. You’ve been mostly cordial, and even neighborly, with me for years. It’s appreciated, ...really.
2) I Do agree with you completely about the lack of comprehension: Yours. & your unremitting avoidance of the topic. No, that’s NOT true. I find it VERY unlikely that you are not comprehending; ...merely avoiding. As you claim, there are more vested interests that I have not considered. So then to reveal at least one of them would, in fact, assist us in reaching a greater understanding of the “means” by which you...blah blah blah....
You said, “Have I considered all the vested interests? Of course not...”
Clever response, Frog. So what, for instance, are those vested interests I may likely have overlooked that you have not? An honest response to THIS may lead us to a greater illumination regarding the “means”...blah blah blah.
So far I have found nothing you’ve said to be a difficult concept, Frog.
No...I am not, nor would I feel justified in, judging you...but you HAVE stirred my curiosity with the ways in which you tackle your truth gleaning process. No other panelist has been quite so poignant and, frankly, crafty in his witticisms and careful use of the insult...as a way of being charming. NO other “con” oriented panelist has been, well, ...not boring. & to read an “antagonist, for lack of a more accurate term” panelist on these boards without being quickly bored to yawns by the rhetoric...is a major bonus. Perhaps even a boon...to have had this opportunity. My mind remains open to your jive, man. In fact my favorite blurb from this thread is:
“Small bits of the puzzle are discovered, cleaned off, verified, validated and joined to the growing picture. Some of the real pieces come from questionable sources and the verification process is quite involved. Some of the false pieces come from authoritive sources that become questionable based on the pieces they provide. Others are dumped onto the board by the thousand but they are either counterfeit, outdated, or go to another puzzle altogether. The verification process is quite painstaking. Once one has a fair idea of what the picture is, one is quite protective of it. A great deal of work has gone into it's development. It should not be surprising that the defense of the work, against those that would obscure it, would be swift and sometimes savage.”
That’s heavy, man. It does go to show that my processes are not in the same league as yours. All that data would crash my board. Not being obtuse here, but is the word “authoritive” a form of professional lingo or a type-o? Again, this is just a vocabulary query for my education, ...not a gratuitous spelling notification, Frog.
In a nutshell: I did not wake-up yesterday thinking...perhaps I’ll bug Frog today. Nope, you sparked my interest with a morning post, ...no different than how a discussion begins in a pub with a familiar but mostly strange personality. Sometimes it goes badly, ...other times old friends are discovered in the first few minutes of an animated discussion....
I don’t get you, Frog. But I dig your rap, mostly. So it generates the ambition for greater understanding. It’s difficult to take someone seriously...if one cannot identify a cat’s motivation. You know mine. I am a shareholder. It’s really THAT simple. In an attempt to be respectful towards you, I set out to...glean a bit more truth. YOU disapprove, I suppose. So YOU choose an impasse. I can respect that, ...although I’ve always been put-off by the Brit concept of the Division Bell. I guess I can just accept what I cannot change and continue to draw my own parallels and share these boards with you amicably. But not forthright where you are concerned...because you choose to remain a shadow figure. So be it, Frog.
I hope we are not done. You’re a wordsmith, man; a real maestro of the keystroke.
Would that you were ring leader the past 4 years, ...could have gone differently...perhaps.
You and bag8ger should have at it again as well,
...now THERE is some poignant thread to be gleaned.
Sorry, I keep using your word.
It’s a good word.
