I mistook that to imply a cut, because only a cut would be a likely explanation for the duration of the outage. In my head "problem with fiber" = "cut".
It's apparently an equipment issue and/or billing issue with their ISP/VOIP provider, which is a local reseller of Novatel, which is a reseller of Verizon service.
At any rate, it doesn't matter whether there is phone service, or even electrical service at Drexel if there is neither product to sell, nor orders to fulfill.
Somebody prove me wrong, please. I WANT BORK TO SUCCEED. I WANT TO BELIEVE. But, please, how many times in a row does the toast have to land jelly-side down before it becomes apparent that something is not quite right?
