That's an increase of almost 2.75 million shares. Since there were less than 21 million shares traded during that time frame, that means that over 13% of the shares traded were CREATED by shorts. The net result of that huge influx of fictional shares was that the stock price fell from the close at $3.46 on September 28th to a close of $3.40 on October 15th. 1 OUT OF EVERY 8 SHARES WAS CREATED OUT OF THIN AIR AND IT ONLY DROPPED THE STOCK PRICE 6 CENTS!
