I don't know the differences, but I do know that if bavi did create an adaptive immunity, then the results would show in patients having a complete response. I'm suspecting that bavi helps the innate immune response triggered by the chemo/radiation damage, but by itself does nothing tangible because the cancer cells have learned to evade the immune cells and PS molecule is just one of several mechanisms of evasion. What evidence do you have that bavi or any anti-PS therapy MOA creates an adaptive immune response in humans. I'm not thoroughly familiar w/ Dr. Thorpe's research. It is intriguing to consider the possiblity of adding to the doce/bavi treatment cycles to increase MOS.
