First, read carefully and understand what was stricken: "Court STRIKES testimony of Dr. Becker, given on cross examination, re: purchase/sell agreement of the Disney/Google Patent."
In other words, the "cross exam" part of Disney/Google Patent was stricken by the judge; but not the presentation by Dr. Becker, who is VRNG's damage expert.
That means, whatever Google lawyers tried to make Dr. Becker look bad during cross exam were taken out of the jury trial. Therefore, without even referencing what SteveKim said/assumed earlier, this was good news to VRNG.
Secondly, this event shows that judge WD has been consistent with his bias towards a fair presentation of the evidences with regard to the damage/loyalties. Google has had no chance to influence the jury with its intention.
