The people who strive and gain power always try to maximize it but who has been best for the masses in the last 40 years? Oh and issues are never neutral as there is either a better solution for the individual or a worse solution.

The political parties are not the same and haven't been for quite awhile. Can you honestly say Mitt Romney is the same as Barack Obama in his positions?
