Gig.....I'm one who believes Stockguard shared some solid information. His theories/insight were logical and the dots connected to the general news IMHO. I had no contact with him outside of his posting on this board, but I found him credible based soley on his posting.

Yes, he did tell us what we wanted to hear.....but we also wanted to hear:

1) Our rights would be valided. We did hear this.
2) We would be awarded blocks. We did hear this.
3) We would be able to exercise our larger rights in the more prolific blocks. We did hear this.
4) We would form relationships/JV's. We did hear this.
5) We would win bids in the best blocks. We did hear this.

Now this poster (Stockguard)is telling us of forward thoughts on possible deals with PXD. I note their most recent presentation shows PXD moving their exploration programme to focus on West Africa and Alaska. Dot to dot to dot. It's there. You just have to look past the waning sp (which Stockguard also explained) to see the trees IMHO. This line has kept me in focus knowing that Scott Sheffield's co had very little to do in W. Africa before he began dealing with Emeka Offor and ERHC:

"We've targeted West Africa as an area of focus for our exploration programme."

Gig....it's not outdated computer parts our company is involved in. It's a finite resource and we have been awarded some of the best prospective acreage on the planet. All indications are ther is a vast amount of oil in our AWARDED acreage. You can't doubt that, can you? Centurion Oil's CEO is stating 2.5 to 3.5 billion barrels in B-4 and their 10% of the block can change the company!!!!!! Do you think the likes of Petrobra's and other nationals would form a consortium in STP's EEZ if they didn't believe it would be worth their while???

Sao Tome and Principe Hopes to Develop Promising Oil Zone
Xinhua News Agency Monday, September 12, 2005

The Natural Resources Minister of Sao Tome and Principe Deolindo da Costa said Monday that his country hopes to sign an accord with Portugal's Galp Energia by year end for the creation of a four-way oil consortium to explore the archipelago's promising Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

According to reports reaching here, da Costa told media that " the necessary diligence is already being carried out with the Portuguese company in the context of a consortium also involving, beyond Sao Tome, Petrobra (of Brazil) and Sonangol (of Angola)."

Describing relations with Galp Energia as "always" good, the minister said more detailed contacts with the Portuguese company over the planned consortium could begin by the end of September.

The Brazilian and Angolan oil companies have already agreed in principle on their participation in consortium and Galp has expressed its interest publicly.

Da Costa also reiterated Sao Tome's commitment to its understanding with Nigeria for combined management of an offshore Joint Development Zone (JDZ), saying the bilateral accord was to " be fulfilled."

This play is much larger than it was when we first began communicating on this board? We now have partnerships and awards behind us not to mention an enhanced value for our future product. Simply waiting for the contracts now.

As convinced you are that Stockguard was playing a game, I am convinced to the contrary.

We can't forget how long we had to wait for the awarding of the blocks. Yes, it was (and still is) pathetic. It is my educated belief that this is normal for Africa. They operate much differently than the Western world. I was ultra surprised to see the JDA layed out a time schedule on the PSC process. They have held to it thus far in the ballgame, though we both know that can change overnight.

We are on the same team (shareholders), though readers might think otherwise due to the different message tones we write. If I was as convinced as you appear to be that ERHC is a POS, I wouldn't be holding right now. I'm glad you are holding, however, as your past time and efforts in DD'ing this stock are well deserving of reward IMHO. Hang in there Gig....and recall your DD. It may well restore your failing confidence level.

Christmas is just around the corner!
