Just something to keep in mind on your apple trades.

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is announcing prices for its first homegrown computing device, setting a starting price that follows the lead of Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) iPad.

The software company says the least expensive of its new Surface tablets will be priced at $499 , the same as the entry-level model of the latest iPad but with twice the memory. That Surface model doesn't come with a cover that doubles as a keyboard and has featured prominently in Microsoft's marketing of the device.
