It is hard to imagine any Lawyer taking a case like the BK w/o a retainer..Sparks has told the court...or at least IMPLIED to the court that he has not been paid anything yet... even MALC speak
which DID work in this case would make it hard if not dangerous to make such a filing. NOT THAT I FOR A MOMENT DOUBT THAT IT WAS DONE...

There is nothing to be gained by taking such a case on contingency basis.. and most LAWYERS do not do PRO BONO to the extent that it was done here. NOR AS CHEAPLY as was claimed.
